Fuck yeh man!! The Flaming Lips were the most psychedelic crazy original weird motherfucker out there with “Oh My Gawd!!”. Even better, find a copy of “Hear it is” their first one, those first two albums were incredible in a lot of ways …”priest driven ambulance” and “hit to death” were decent but their last two that were worth a crap…”jelly” ruined them whether it was themselves, the media or who knows what…..no matter what kind of crap they release now they will always have the first two. I still have a great old concert T’shirt a friend gave me back when that in itself says how fucking cool they used to be…images of Jimi Hendrix,god,weed,drugs,fire„,mishmash with techno colors…

before the Flaming Lips were a boring band my dad listens to, they were a totally fucking awesome psych-punk band from the middle of nowhere who did shit tons of drugs and wrote jams that sounded like Paul Westerberg fronting Spacemen 3.
